We are located in the Lincoln Park / Wrigleyville area on the north side of Chicago. Our street address is 4080 N. Broadway. We are one block north of Irving Park and three blocks west of Lake Shore Drive.

What is a direct repair shop?
A direct repair facility is a body shop that works directly with your insurance company as a preferred shop. EUROPEAN & US CAR SERVICE is a direct repair facility for major insurance companies. When you use a preferred shop the repair process is streamlined. We write the estimate, order the parts, and can begin repairs on your car.
Body shops earn the right to be in preferred shop programs by meeting certain criteria including having certified technicians, using the proper equipment, and most important, having a record of satisfied customers. Illinois law says that you can take your car to any repair shop of your choosing.

Will the parts be ordered before I drop my car off for repair?
Yes. Our goal is to provide you with a quick turn around time. We generally order your car's parts at the time that we write your estimate and schedule your car for work.

How long will it take to fix my car and when can I pick it up?
Of course every case is different, but we do our best to turn your car around quickly. We will give you an estimate of the time it will take to complete the repairs. If you call us we will provide you with an update on the status of your car. We will call you when your car is ready to be picked up. back to top

How can I get a rental car?
We work with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Call us and we will be happy to arrange a rental car for you. Drop your car off here. We will arrange for Enterprise to pick you up.

If my car's frame is damaged is the car a total loss?
No. A car is a total loss only when the price of repairs exceeds the insurance companies determined value of your car or when your car is structurally unrepairable. Today most cars are built using unibody construction, meaning the frame and body are one. If a frame section is beyond repair, that section can simply be replaced.
